My experience of working in a supportive role to actors and company directors with learning disabilities and recent training in understanding neurodiversity have developed my interest in using audio to improve online accessibility. I can record long sections of text on your website to make them more accessible for blind and partially sighted people and readers with learning difficulties, including dyslexia, meaning even more of your audience feel welcome and engaged by your online content.

My work has included motivating and managing staff in my own Limited Companies, customer-facing roles in retail, hospitality and marketing, B2B experience in recruitment and marketing, design and print, training delivery with people of all ages and on a wide range of topics including team building, and even delivering speeches and lectures to large audiences with interpreters in China, Denmark, France and the UK.

I hold professional qualifications in Playwork and Youth Work and have over 25 years of experience of working with children, young people and adults in formal and informal education settings. I’ve worked as a Level 2 & 3 NVQ assessor, and a visiting lecturer in Higher Education. E-learning Voiceover is a natural extension of my experience in this area.

Documentaries are a wonderful way to learn, and I have the skills to underwrite your carefully curated images with an engaging and perfectly pitched delivery of your script, whatever the topic.

I’ve been a member of the National Trust for as long as I can remember, and am passionate about the arts, heritage and culture. I’ve led successful guided Arts Trail tours in person, even in the rain. I would love to lend my voice to your recorded tour or guide and learn all about what you do in the process.

When my adult daughter was little, my friends would find excuses to come round for her bedtime stories.

There is nowhere else I would rather be than immersed in a great story. Storytelling is a real passion for me.

As a young person, I trained in theatre, musical theatre and classical singing. As an adult I have worked in the arts sector for many years including as a Theatre and Dance Producer.

The move into Voiceover feels like a very natural next step in my varied and wide-ranging creative career.

As a Voiceover Artist, I am bringing together a love for words, stories and ideas, a professional affinity with many different audiences and communities, and a skill for listening, interpretation and communication, and pouring it expertly into the microphone for your listening pleasure.

I recorded my commercial and narrative demos with the team at The Showreel in January 2024. In April I also benefitted from additional 1-2-1 home studio coaching.

I am always looking for opportunities for further training and experience and have also attended audio book training at The Writers Block in Redruth, Cornwall.
